It's about time something good was announced for the Xbox. In the last couple of months I've turned rather glum about the console's future, as it seemed to blatantly ignore the fact that not everybody on this planet is an American (in other words I got sick of the constant abysmal stream of Shooting/Racing/Sport games).
Ironically my personal Xbox saviour is none other than Konami, a company which Japanese division actually dropped Xbox support altogether after Metal Gear Solid 2: Substance. While multiple games were announced, the one that really gets the blood flowing is none other than Dance Dance Revolution Xbox (stupid name, although it will live it's life as DDRX anyway), an Xbox update of the dancing game with Xbox Live support to download new tracks and step patterns. The only things missing in this "Match Made in Heaven" are the dancing mats (please Konami, bundle), the ability to use ripped soundtracks (legal problems probably block this line of thought) and a European release.
As a side note: it does make you wonder, are these games then developed by Konami USA or something like that? Or did Gates' moneybags work wonders again? Whatever the case, I don't really care. I'm more worried about choosing a location where I should pre-order.
